Fun Fitness. 60 Savage or 75 Hard?
Fitness, food and fun
Are you confused by the title of this post?
I mean what on earth is 60 Savage?
I just made it up but it’s going to the next 60 days of keeping me accountable on a mini fitness refresh and I’ll document it here.
✅ Movement - Two sessions of movement and it can be whatever you like.
(must be over 45minutes each session)
✅ Eat - From scratch at all meal times, where possible (and good snacks when not)
✅ Drink - 2 litres of water and more if possible
✅ Dance - One tune a day and dance, more if you have the time
✅ Learn - 20 minutes of Spanish a day (you can do whatever you like)
✅ Explore somewhere new each week (it could be a new place, space or City!)
If you want to join, follow along.
75 hard is of course way more well known, if you haven’t heard of it, it’s here
75 days of 2x movement, reading 10 pages of a book and 1 gallon of water (read more about it here).
60 savage will be slightly softer, despite the title, I thought it sounded cool.
I’ll see how it goes but sharing this will hold me accountable, I hope.
A couple of months ago I was feeling fluffy and out of condition physically, as someone who loves feeling fit and strong, I find it tricky to navigate when I don’t.
So rather than talking about it, like anything, it’s always good to do something about it.
The last few months I have been refining my diet, taking myself to the treadmill (on an incline, of course), out on my bike and generally trying to get more movement into my day and less pies in my cakehole (food in my mouth) and when I do, trying to make healthier choices, cooking from scratch and generally trying to bring some fun fitness back into my life, hello hula hoop.
These posts will be a mix of fitness throughout the day, the food I eat, and some fun.
How are you feeling at the moment?
Feeling fit and sprightly or could do with some fun fitness and food in your life?
I’m going to try to document my meals, fitness and fun each day.
The visual delights will continue, of course!
Breakfast
Easy does it with some eggs (with a bit of feta added), avocado and some greek yoghurt.
Delicious.
Smoothie central
1 x slice Honey dew Melon
1 x banana
2 x dates
Handful of blueberries
Slice of ginger
Sprinkle of turmeric
Top with a dash of water and milk of choice (Almond/Soy)
Buy a skipping rope, you won’t regret it!
Each day I’ll share how I feel and it really is to hold me accountable, so tune out if it’s not your thing and join in if it is, tell me if you do, things are always better shared as a community!
I start properly tomorrow, who is with me?
